Provider guide: Wix
To connect a domain bought through Wix to OhhWells, open Manage DNS Records and replace the main A record and the www CNAME with the values OhhWells shows.

Use this guide if you bought your domain through Wix and are moving your site to OhhWells.
- Complete Step 1 of the main article so you have your OhhWells records open.
- Sign in at wix.com and open Domains.
- Select the Domain Actions icon (three dots) next to your domain.
- Choose Manage DNS Records.
- In the A (Host) section, edit the record for your main domain and replace the value with the one OhhWells shows. Remove any other A records for the main domain.
- In the CNAME (Aliases) section, edit the www record and replace the value with the one OhhWells shows. If there is none, choose + Add Record.
- Save your changes.
- Return to OhhWells Site Editor and check the status.
Good to know
- Your Wix site stops showing at this domain once the records change. It stays available at its free Wix address.
- Wix does not let you change name servers on a domain bought from Wix. That is fine, because OhhWells only needs the two records above.
- If your Wix plan ends, the domain stays yours for as long as you keep renewing the domain itself.
