Provider guide: Squarespace Domains
To connect a Squarespace domain, including one moved from Google Domains, remove the Squarespace Defaults in DNS Settings and add an A record and a www CNAME for OhhWells.

- Complete Step 1 of the main article so you have your OhhWells records open.
- Sign in at squarespace.com and open Domains.
- Select your domain, then DNS Settings.
- If you see a group called Squarespace Defaults, delete it with the bin icon. These records point your domain at Squarespace.
- Make a note of any email records first if they sit in the same group.
- Scroll to Custom Records and choose Add Record.
- Pick type A, enter @ as the host and paste the value OhhWells shows. Save.
- Choose Add Record again. Pick type CNAME, enter www as the host and paste the value OhhWells shows. Save.
- Return to OhhWells Site Editor and check the status.
Moving your whole site from Squarespace? Connect the domain last. Your Squarespace site stops showing at this domain as soon as the records change.
