Type what you want into the OhhWells prompt bar — for example, "make my buttons dark green and rounded." Every button across every page updates together: your booking button, your contact button, and the buttons inside sections OhhWells generated for you. One undo puts everything back exactly as it was.
Steps:
- Open your site in the OhhWells editor.
- Type your change into the prompt bar, in plain words.
- Check the result — every button on the site updates at once.
- Undo if you don't like it — one undo restores the previous look.
- Publish — your changes stay exactly as you set them.
How do I centre or move a button on my website?
Name the button and say where it should go: "centre the Book Now button" or "left align the CTA." Only that button moves — nothing else on the page changes. This works for headings too. There's no dragging and no guessing at margins or spacing settings.
Steps:
- Find the button's name — the words on it, like "Book Now" or "Contact us."
- Type where it should go — "centre," "left align" or "right align" plus the button name.
- Check the page — only that element moves.
How do I edit just one button?
Click the button — in your navbar, your hero, or any section — and a small toolbar appears next to it. From there you can switch its style, change its size, duplicate it, or delete it. The change applies only to the button you clicked.
Steps:
- Click the button you want to change.
- Use the toolbar that appears beside it: style, size, duplicate, or delete.
- For more options, click the brush icon to open the style panel.
What button styles and sizes can I use?
OhhWells gives every site three button styles — filled, outline, and plain text — in three sizes: small, medium and large. If your site only had one style before, OhhWells builds the other two from your own brand colours, so they match automatically.
Open the style panel (the brush icon on any selected button) to see all three styles side by side. Click one and it applies on the page straight away — what you see is the finished result, not a preview.
How do I put "Book now" first in my navigation menu?
Drag your navbar buttons into the order you want. Put "Book now" first, where visitors expect it. Reordering is available for navbar buttons; for buttons inside page sections, use the toolbar to duplicate, delete or restyle them.
Why buttons matter more than they look
Until now, if you built your site from scratch, your buttons kept a plain default look even after you'd chosen your brand colours — so your site looked like you everywhere except the one spot people actually click. And a button sitting slightly off-centre was the kind of small wrong thing you'd notice every time you opened your own website.
We'd rather you never have to ask anyone for permission to change your own business online. This is one more thing off that list.
